Tina Tao

Pianist, accompanist, music educator

Tina Tao is a Melbourne-based pianist, collaborative artist, and music educator currently pursuing a Doctor of Music degree in Piano Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, The University of Melbourne. She previously completed her Bachelor of Music at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and her Master of Music at the University of Melbourne.

Alongside her performance and research work, Tina has extensive experience teaching students of all ages and levels, from young beginners to advanced performers. Her teaching combines strong technical foundations with creativity, listening skills, and musical expression, encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and an individual artistic voice.

As an active performer and accompanist, she regularly collaborates with instrumentalists and singers in recitals, examinations, chamber music projects, and live performances across Melbourne.

Guitarist, bassist, composer, arranger, music educator

Dingyang is a guitarist, bassist, and music educator with a passion for contemporary music, improvisation, and creative collaboration. His musical background spans live performance, band settings, jam sessions, and modern music production, bringing a versatile and energetic approach to teaching.

Specializing in guitar, bass, jazz foundations, and composition, he encourages students to develop not only technical skills, but also musical intuition, groove, creativity, and confidence. His lessons are designed to be engaging, practical, and inspiring — helping students explore music beyond simply reading notes on a page.

With experience across multiple styles including jazz, rock, pop, and contemporary music, he brings a modern and open-minded perspective to music education and creative work.
